I admit that a couple of these photos were taken on the same day – which means I missed a day. But I’m ok with it. I’m taking lots of photos, and that’s a great thing!

2012 Project 366: Week 1

This is the third year that I’m attempting to complete project 365 (well, project 366 this year!), which is a photo a day, every day of an entire year. Although I didn’t officially complete it last year, I certainly appreciate the photos that I was able to take in order to document our lives, as well as to continue to improve my photography skills.

Oh, in case anyone is wondering what happened to Ella's face . . . she was carrying around a Tupperware container of snacks, tripped, and landed on the edge right across her cheek and eye. Then, the next day she fell on one of her other toys, cutting her eyelid. She's had a rough couple of days!

2011 Project 365: Week 1

If you aren't familiar with Project 365, it is a challenge to take a photo every day for a year. I took on the challenge in 2010, and ended up taking a photo almost every day (although I did miss a few days here and there). I'm excited to take on the project again, but instead of posting my photos in a separate blog, I'll be posting my photos weekly here. I'm going to try to take a photo of both Ella and Troy every day (or at least one of them together), but we'll see how it goes!

Project 365

If you haven't noticed yet, I really enjoy photography. I'm not very good, and I still have tons to learn, but I really do enjoy it. In this new year, I'm starting a new project: the photography Project 365. The goal of this project is to take a photo everyday for an entire year. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to grow in the realm of photography, as well as to document Ella's year in pictures.
