The Paper Mama Photo Challenge: Blessings

The challenge at the Paper Mama this week is blessings with the idea in mind of taking a photo during your Thanksgiving day meal. Unfortunately, Troy decided that he wanted to eat during our Thanksgiving meal, so I wasn't really able to eat with everyone, or take a photo of Ella during the meal. With that said, my photo is a special moment between Ella and Troy - two of the greatest blessings in my life!

I was excited to find out that my photo of Ella was chosen as a favorite photo last week at the Paper Mama. Yay!!

The Paper Mama Photo Challenge: Black and White

I was excited that this week's challenge on the Paper Mama was black and white because I need a ton of practice with black and white conversions. I really struggle with black and white conversions - I just don't quite feel like I have an "eye" for it yet, but I'm working on it!

I was so excited to find out that my photo of Ella's eyes was chosen for second place, as well as a favorite photo last week at the Paper Mama. Yay!!

I'm excited to look through the entries this week at I Heart Faces. I LOVE black and white photos, but I'm still learning how to do black and white conversions. Here's my attempt at a dramatic black and white photo:

I had a hard time choosing a photo for this week's challenge at I Heart Faces, but I finally settled on this one of my daughter with her aunt.
